Vitamins/SupplementsDo any of you give extra vitamins or supplements to your dogs? If so, what do you give and why?

Brewers YeastThe best thing I feel that I have given to my dogs is Brewers Yeast. They eat it like treats and it's good for their skin and coat. My Bernese and Retriever both take it and look great. People at the dog park always ask "did your dog just get a bath?" and it will literally have been a month since water and shampoo have even touched her. I plan on giving it to my Mastiff when he settles in.

I give my guys an herbal powder called Norwegian Kelp. I have used it for 2 years now and I love it.
It helps with shedding, aids in digestion, arthritis for older dogs, and a couple of other things. I get the garlic and herb kind and it keeps the fleas away also. For the last 2 years I have not had to buy flea meds. I highly recommend this.

I am going to check into that Norwegian stuff Courtney since you swear by it. However right now the only thing we currently use is Garlic.
When I have puppies here we use the Vit. C with Rose Hips but that is just with our puppies.

Desi took the Vit C with Rose hips also. I ran out and quit giving them to her though.

We give Kaboose three scoops of a mulit-vitamin powder in each meal. We also give him 3k mil of vitamin C with rose hips a day. The vitamin C will help him with arthritis when he is older, our vet said that it is great for joints. I can't remember the vitamin powders name, I'll check when I get home.
