PhoenixPhoenix was my baby,she was beautiful, may not have been the breed standard with her long body and nose, but I thought she was beautiful,she was a beautiful soul, I brought her home from another breeder, (not a good one) unfortunately she had something wrong right from the beginning, $3000, a ton of tests at the vet later, we learned she has a right to left heart shunt, she was like an old friend, she suffered for months as my vet drug out the testing almost being poked and prodded daily, to make money as the first test that I asked to have done, was the last one she did and found it. my baby went to heaven in my arms when she was just 4.5 months old, she had never been able to play as she would lose her breath and fall over, she was an angel, she was the sweetest little girl you could ever hope for, I think she was meant to be with me, for me to take care of her, letting her go was heart breaking,having her look up at me one last time, I was her protector, it was so hard for me to do, but I couldn't let her suffer one more day. I know she is playing in heaven and not in pain anymore.
My vet was fired!
I think of her daily, and she reminds me of the kind of person and breeder that I want to be.
