Barrie needs our prayers for her Sunny girl.
As many of you know, she has been very concerned about her for some time now. After several tests, rounds of antibiotics, diet changes, etc, still something just hasn't been right.
Well, after more tests, they found that Sunny has a mass on her spleen, they don't think it's cancer, but she does have to undergo surgery to remove the spleen.
You can imagine how she's feeling right now.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. She is still pretty shocked right now, and did ask that if you want to contact her, please no phone calls, but email, texting, and posting here is fine.
Right now she's just trying to let it all sink in.
We all know how difficult it is when your phone keeps ringing and you have to repeat all the details over and over. Please, let's respect her request.
Courtney and I have been talking and we would like to see if we can help her with some of the financial burden for Sunny's treatment.
We know the surgery will be about $2000 and her vet will take 50% up front.
Here's some of the ideas we're coming up with:
*Court is going to post some things on Ebay for her for 7 days.
So far we have several pieces of Barrie's jewelry, mastiff purses, and cool coats. We'll get pictures up on the board soon. If anyone would like to donate items, please contact her and she can add them.
*We'll have a 50/50 raffle with half the money going to the winner and half to Sunny's vet.
*If anyone would like to donate cash, we will post the vet's info so donations can go directly to Sunny's account. I'm sure any amount would be appreciated, $5, $10, it all adds up.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Come on everyone, let's see what we can do to help !

Here is how the 50/50 will work if you guys are interested!!
You will first need a paypal account, if you don't have one it is very simple to set up. Go to http://www.paypal.com and follow the steps to open an account.
You will PM or email me as to how many tickets you would like. I can either send you an invoice through paypal or you can just submit your money with the word "TICKETS" in the subject line. I will send you a confirmation email with your ticket number(s).
Tickets are now on sale now and will continue through Nov. 30th and on Dec 1st a winner will be drawn.
For example: $100.00 collected for tickets, the winner will get $50.00 and Barrie and Sunny will get the other $50.00.
Patti and myself cannot participate since we are conducting it.
TICKET PRICES: 1-$1.00 or 6-$5.00
You can send your money to sunnysfund@hotmail.com through paypal with the word TICKET in the subject line.
