A couple of weeks ago, at 4:00 am... Chris and I were getting ready to go to the airport for Chris to go to Mexico. Legend had had an ear infection at the time and normally takes his pills with no problem, but since Chris was leaving, he wanted to give Legend a treat with his pills. Chris put some peanut butter on a spoon and stuck the pill to the peanut butter... next thing we knew the pill and the peanut butter was gone, and so was the spoon!!!!!! Legend didn't even know it happened!! I couldn't help but laugh... how do you deal with a dog swallowing a spoon at 4 in the morning when you just got to bed a few hours before that. I called an emergency vet and they said not to make him vomit (which I found out I WAS supposed to do,and that would have saved me a chunk of change! >:{ ) He ended up having to have it surgically removed. The vet also found some skin off of a soccer ball, some fibers off of a green blanket, 4 rocks (he eats these because he thinks it is a game that we don't want him to), some grass, and a metal spoon. I couldn't believe it!! Plus our vet was out of town, and we had to find a new one! I didn't even have Chris's help for a whole 10 days because he was working in Mexico!! I was one stressed out puppy! When he was younger, he got into some rat poison, (he thought it was a part of the no rocks game) I don't even know where he found it, we put our poison in poison barns. Sooooo.... have any stupid pet moments that scared the laughter right out of you?

He is fine now, lost about 20lbs because of feed restrictions while healing... He has gained all of his weight back and is as feisty as ever...
